Landfill Waste

Ray® has the capability to breakdown concentrated organics and chemical oxygen demand in runoff and residual leachate to effectively remediate landfill waste. Ray® has been proven to reduce BTX compounds in complex matrices

Industrial

Applications

Glycol

The system has demonstrated a 30 to 50% reduction on propylene glycol solutions, making it an economical alternative to remediation of runoff from airports and other cold weather facilities.

Diesel & Hydrocarbon

Ray® has shown breakdown rates of 40% with a one-time pass on fluids with fuel contamination and the ability to strip benzine and Toluene from complex effluents.

Brewery and food process waste

Using heat and UV, Ray® can easily reduce the biological oxygen demand of brewing, winery and other high BOD and COD processing effluents at industrial sites. BOD reductions by 50% have been shown on brewery and creamery wastes.

PFOA/PFAS

Initial tests using the Ray® system on groundwater contaminated with PFOA have indicated the ability to break a portion of the acid chains in PFOA and PFAS. Additional testing is scheduled with advanced catalysts that should allow the system to cleave fluorine from the molecular structure of these effluents.
